The loose headlamp strap makes it awkward to stow. However with this little fist sized gearbag, the headlamp fits in there absolutely perfect. Some would say; “why spend this much on a little bag!” I’ll tell you. Because this light from Fenix is going to be with me till I’m old so a good carry bag to protect my headlamp was a no brainer!
Bought to keep an HL-16 protected in a emergency car kit. This case is fantastic! Stiffer than I had envisioned. I have no qualms about tossing this in a bag in my trunk. Although, not specifically listed, the HL-16 fit perfectly and still left room in the lid to put a generic battery case with 6 batteries. So, I had room for the headlamp and 2 extra sets of batteries! Very happy with this purchase!!
I'll get the HL16 added to the list! Sometimes when new products launch we forget to add it on the accessories pages - something I've been working to update and make sure everything is there! Thanks for mentioning it!
I like this case but it is on the small size. One of my headlamps fits but one will not. If you have a separate battery compartment this case is too small.
Fits the Fenix HL 60R perfect.
I love all of the Fenix products, very well made.
Fenix APB-20 Headlamp Gear Bag
Nice case which fits my HM65R-T very well.
Not sure i would hang the case from my pack by the lanyard as it appears to be quite thin.
