ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 is a high-capacity 21700 Li-ion rechargeable battery built for more power and longer runtimes. Additional features include a protection circuit in the anode to help prevent short circuits, over charge/discharge and over heating. Pressure relief vents which expel waste gas in the rare case of an internal short circuit preventing an explosion. Battery capacity up to 5000mAh. 500 charging cycles.

Love the battery. Lame package change.

Battery is great for the HP25R headlamp for caving. They last a really long time and handle the cold rather well. Although, they just changed their packaging to plastic disposable clamshells. They got rid of the nice little box you can snap together with other battery boxes. I guess I’ll find another way to store them together. 2 stars off because that was rather very handy and convenient.

The batteries have two types of packaging. Generally the clamshell packaging is reserved for our retailers, however, if we run out of the inventory with the 'nice little boxes' our warehouse will ship out the clamshell packasing as opposed to putting the item out of stock or having you wait until we get the other inventory in. If you got the clamshell packaging, it would mean the 'web' inventory had been all sold and your battery was pulled from the 'retail' inventory as opposed to making you wait until we got a battery shipment.
