What are the differences between our two most popular flashlights?
Here is where you will find the answers.
Similar stats from both flashlights.
Difference #1 - Operating Modes
PD35 TAC Tactical – Operates Turbo, Low and Strobe via the tail cap switch. The side switch is deactivated.
Outdoor – Operates all modes via the side switch. Tail cap is for on/off and momentary on.
PD35 v2.0 Standard – Operates all modes via the side switch. Tail cap is for on/off and momentary on.
Difference #2 - Battery Level
PD35TAC Low Voltage Indicator – Blinks three times every five minutes when the battery is very low and needs replacing.
PD35 v2.0 Battery Level Indicator – Each time the light turns on, a color indicator light appears for 5 seconds on the side switch. Green = full, Green flash = sufficient, Red = poor, Red flash = critical.
I’ve carried my PD35 EVERY SINGLE DAY. I literally beat the crap out of it and it has yet to fail me. The lens still doesn’t have ANY SCRATCHES on it! If you’re looking to purchase a BAD ASS flashlight—look no further. Get one!—Dan M.
