"I found that the angle of the beam could be too low or too high or end up hitting your visor creating a shadow based on the location of the vents of your specific helmet. This needs a little bit more design thought. This might be tolerable for someone riding road, but its limitations make it dangerous for mountain biking."
Mounting method not the best
"I like the low profile and the foam underside of this mount but feel it’s missing an adequate mechanism to mount to helmet. Other brands had a long velcro strap attached that works better in my opinion."
Don’t drop your helmet.
"Helmet mount works get, mind did split when my helmet dropped out of my hand in a long ride. So I kept on a going as the light flipped around late at night. Going to order another one as it probably not under warranty."

"Overall, love all of Fenix lighting systems products and have used them on adventures small and large. The one drawback is, I wish the helmet mounts were built a little more robust. One early morning while racing on the Arizona Trail, my helmet fell from my bike and shattered my helmet mount. Luckily, I had a handlebar mount as a backup by chance. Otherwise I would have been hosed."

"Functional but dumbfounded that this little piece of plastic and a few zip ties is a separate purchase, and a had a ridiculous shipping charge. Really think this should be included with the lamp"

"There is no way to adjust the up&down angle, so on three different (Task) helmets I own, the beam is pointed way too low, and basically unusable."
