The Fenix ARE-X2 is dual-channel smart charger, built for different types, and different size, rechargeable batteries. The charger will automatically choose the correct charging mode for each battery type, whether it be Li-ion, Ni-MH or Ni-Cd. The ARE-X2 also features a USB port which allows you to charge other devices from charged Li-ion batteries on the unit (Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries cannot charge devices).

Charge dissatisfaction

I have your flashlight and many of your batteries. Love the product and am pleased with the life of the batteries. I am now on my second charger, as both have failed in fairly short order. I won't continue to spend money on failing chargers, but remain very happy with the light and the batteries.

I cannot be happier with this product! chargers my Fenix batteries (and others) flawlessly. Works great with my power bank so I can charge on the go while hiking. Love the fact it has surge protection and indicator lights so I know how much more I have to go until there is a full charge. This Fenix charger is lighter, more compact, and overall better quality than my prior one so there are all big wins for this charger. This is a must have for anyone with rechargeable batteries!!
