Outstanding Headlamp!

"I bought this for myself and as with other Fenix product I have purchased it is Fantastic! My wife saw it and low and behold she liked it so well for crafting and late night reading it became hers. I do get to use it from time to time but I am sure I will have to buy one for me in the near future! I would Highly recommend this headlamp to anyone. The flood light works very well and is easy to use as is the brighter spot light feature that I use when I am outside after dark."

Generally an excellent light -

"Generally an excellent light - this is my second (one for home, one for work). Very bright; very durable - I Velcro it to my hardhat, and it's been knocked off onto concrete from over 12' up several times and keeps working; good range of brightnesses and spreads (especially for the price). My only complaint is that it only works with button-top batteries, and I have a lot of flat-tops, while the PD35 TAC flashlight works with both."

Great headlamp. Battery last longer

"Great headlamp. Battery last longer than any other headlamp I’ve ever owned. Overall great product and worth every penny. I will be purchasing more products from Fenix."

Trevor W. (5/5)

Outstanding Headlamp – Lightweight and Powerful!

"The Fenix HM65R is easily the best headlamp I have ever owned. Having both a dedicated spotlight and a wide floodlight that you can run independently or combine is incredibly useful. The magnesium housing makes it surprisingly lightweight, so it stays comfortable for hours—whether I am hitting the trails for an early morning hike in the mountains, working on equipment, or just taking the dogs out after dark. The USB-C recharging is fast, and the battery life is phenomenal. If you need a tough, reliable, hands-free light, this is absolutely the one to get!"

Jeff B. (5/5)

Works well for me

"I use it on the lowest, wide-angle setting. I have two batteries on a charger from a previous Russian lamp and just pop in a replacement when needed."

Ronald K. (5/5)

Caving headlight

"Bought this light for caving and it didn't disappoint. Love the two lights spot and flood. I also use it running too. Sometimes I wish it didn't have the top strap but it doesn't bother me too much."

Jonathan H. (5/5)

Excellent for techno morons like me!

"I do a bit of adventure sports, often alone, and wanted a step up in headlamp performance. Example: I recently did multiple night crossings of a river (Green River, CO) in a packraft and wanted a robust spotlight to quickly find the landing zone. My old headlamp had such complicated instructions and controls that finding the spot vs. floodlight was a hassle. The HM65R’s separate spot and flood controls solved that problem, and I appreciated the upgrade in lumens and battery burn time. A very solid pick, I’m happy."

Fenix HM65R: The Two-Eyed Monster

"If you’ve ever looked at a normal headlamp and thought, "One eyeball? In this economy?" then the Fenix HM65R is your new best friend. It’s the "binocular" of headlamps, giving you two dedicated LEDs so you can pretend you’re a high-tech cyborg while looking for a dropped lug nut in the mud. The "Double Vision" Experience: The Dual Beam: It has a dedicated spotlight for seeing the bear at the end of the trail, and a dedicated floodlight for seeing the trip-wire root directly in front of your toes. Turn them both on at once to achieve "Maximum Overdrive" and 1,400 lumens of pure un-dark. Magnesium Body: It’s made of magnesium, which is fancy-talk for "stronger than plastic but lighter than your sense of regret after a 10-mile hike. " It’s incredibly light for how much power it packs. The "Indestructible" Factor: It’s IP68 rated, meaning it can handle a monsoon, a dust storm, or that one time you accidentally headbutted a low-hanging pine branch. The "Real Talk" Section: Button Confusion: It has two buttons on top. For the first week, you will press the wrong one. You'll try to flood the tent to find your socks and instead accidentally signal a nearby space station with the spotlight. The "Tanning Bed" Effect: If you run both beams on High, your forehead might start to feel like it’s on a tropical vacation. It’s a headlamp, not a space heater, but it tries its best to be both. The Verdict The Fenix HM65R is the ultimate "set it and forget it" headlamp. It’s light enough that you’ll forget you’re wearing it—until you look in a mirror and realize you look like a very bright coal miner. It’s reliable, rechargeable, and twice as much fun as a single-beam light."

Best headlight i ever had

"🔥 Absolutely love this headlamp Honestly, I’m extremely happy with the Fenix HM65R. This is hands down one of the best headlamps I’ve ever owned. The brightness is impressive, the beam is clean and well-balanced, and having both flood and spotlight modes is a huge plus. It makes working in the dark, hiking, or night tasks incredibly comfortable. The build quality feels very solid and premium, exactly what you expect from Fenix. It’s lightweight, sits well on the head, and doesn’t cause discomfort even during longer use. Battery life is excellent, and USB-C charging is super convenient. Overall, this headlamp exceeded my expectations. Powerful, reliable, and well thought out. I can confidently recommend it to anyone who needs a serious, high-quality headlamp. Absolutely worth it."
